The meat industry is an important sector of the agricultural economy of Ireland, representing almost 27% of Gross Agricultural Output. Annual turnover of the beef, lamb and pigmeat sector is value in excess of €3.2 billion.

Meat Industry Ireland:
Meat Industry Ireland (MII) is the sector association responsible for representation of the business interests of the beef and lamb processing sector in Ireland.

MII provides a wide variety of services for its members including up to date information on all technical, legislative developments and policy changes that may affect the meat industry.

Irish Association of Pigmeat Processors:
The Irish Association of Pigmeat Processors (IAPP) is the sector association responsible for representation of the business interests of the pigmeat processing sector in Ireland.

IAPP promotes the interests of member companies through active engagement with Government, state agencies and through interaction at EU level.
