The 8th annual Green Awards took place Thursday April 14th at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel, Burlington Road, Dublin.
In total 25 trophies were presented on the night with BAM Civil / Wayss & Freytag Joint Venture winning the overall Green Business of the Year award.
Green Business sponsored both the Green Small Organisation of the Year and the Green Medium Organisation of the Year for 2016.
Green Small Organisation of the Year 2016
Orchard Acre Farm (http://www.orchardacrefarm.co.uk) based in Irvinestown Co. Fermanagh, overcame strong competition from other short-listed entrants to win the Green Small Organisation of the Year for 2016.
Dr. Shane Colgan, Manager of the Resource Efficiency Unit in the EPA presents the award to Teresa O'Hare from Orchard Acre Farm
Green Medium Organisation of the Year 2016
The Green Medium Organisation of the Year for 2016 is GMC Utilities Group (http://www.gmcirl.com) who overcame strong competition from other short-listed entrants to claim the award.
