A single market that works
A single market in which policy makers understand and respond to the needs of the business community is more important than ever if Europe is to return to a path of strong economic growth. Ibec calls on the European Institutions to unlock the full potential of the single European market in goods, services and digital to enable businesses to provide growth, jobs and improved choice in goods and services to consumers.
The recommendations outline our vision for a fully functioning European single market and the building blocks necessary to make that vision a reality. The recommendations are necessarily a priority list rather than an exhaustive list. We believe that, taken together and pursued with vigour, these priorities will afford Irish and European businesses the very best opportunities to create employment and grow prosperity.
