Business sentiment quarterly survey - pay May 2011

Over seven out of ten (73%) respondent companies are expecting to implement a pay freeze in 2011. Basic pay rates, on average, are expected to be slightly reduced in 2011, down by -0.12% across all respondents. Some 17% expect to increase basic pay rates this year, while 6% expect to decrease them.
