Labour market activation

Ibec supports the Government’s focus on labour market activation through a series of initiatives targeted at job creation, particularly for the long-term unemployed, through up-skilling, re-skilling and job preservation. Ibec’s Ireland that works campaign drew attention to poor targeting of labour market supports and the need to involve more employers in the roll-out of activation programmes.
